Aqua Classic Pools & Spas Inc., a family owned and operated company, was established in 1983 by Charles and Monika Forrest, and has earned over 100 Regional, National and International Design Awards over the years, including the coveted AQUA 100 award, naming this company as one of the top 100 pool companies nationwide. Operating out of two locations in Clute and Bay City, the Aqua Classic team is dedicated to providing a relaxed and pleasurable pool experience for everyone they serve.
Lynn Forrest, Aqua Classic’s President and Designer, and second generation pool builder, is a graduate of Texas A&M University (Class of ’92) with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in landscape design and horticulture. He earned Platinum membership of the World’s premier advanced design school “Genesis 3”, which is taught by professionals with international reputations for their work creating world class pools, spas, and water features. He also earned a Master’s degree from the Society of Watershapers in 2008, which makes him one of only 33 graduates nationwide to have earned this prestigious title. As an APSP Certified Building Professional, Lynn likes to meet a challenge, is very creative in his designs and loves to build what others say can’t be done. Beautiful pools in Matagorda, Wharton, Fort Bend and Brazoria Counties are a testament to his desire to create a customized backyard paradise for his customers, thus making a positive difference in the lives of others, one family at a time. His vision statement “Leaving a Legacy of Timeless Elegance”, describes the quality of design and workmanship provided.
Lynn has served three terms on the Board of Directors (including president) of the APSP (Association of Pool and Spa Professionals, the trade association of the pool industry), which earned him the “Person of the Year” award in 2001. He volunteered numerous times to teach trade-related skills at conventions and other industry functions.
Aqua Classic was invited to join the Aquatech Society in 1999. Aquatech is a nationwide association of pool and spa professionals whose members must meet the highest standards of quality, service and creativity.
